Andrew Bennett is a 1L Pledge Alumni and a May 2017 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  He was matched with Xcel Energy during the Pledge his 1L year, and worked there throughout the remainder of his law school career.  Andrew is currently the Director of Advocacy at Energy Outreach Colorado, a nonprofit whose mission is to ensure low-income Coloradans can afford their home energy needs. In his capacity as Director of Advocacy, Andrew provides expert testimony on regulatory matters before the Public Utilities Commission, works with legislators and other stakeholders on new bills, and works with the gas and electric utilities to develop and improve programs benefiting low-income customers.
